[OFARC] OFARC meeting by Web

Hal & Mark have found a web based meeting package that is FREE and will
allow 100 people to log in at one time.

They intend to have the club meeting by video chat next Saturday.

 

The software installs easily and, for most folks, will be easy to set up.

There are versions for Windows, MAC, and Android operating systems (not
Linux)

 

First go to the web page and down load the software installer

I did have some problems with my video and audio.

If you run into problems:

*        make sure your computer allows the camera and audio to have access
to the internet.

*        Make sure "Parental controls" are off

*        If those steps don't help, you may be like me.. The laptop is so
old the new software did not play well with the camera and speakers.  SO.. I
hooked up the new, stand alone, camera and a computer headset with
microphone

*        The software recognized them just fine and I was in business.
