[OFARC] ! OFARC NOTICE OF TRANSTAR CLOSURE

All,  NOTICE OF CLUB MEETING LOCATION CLOSURE 

 

I am informed that all public meetings at TranStar are cancelled until
further notice.    It is likely the closure will extend into May.  Since
Canyon Creek Café is probably difficult to disinfect, seems prudent to
cancel the breakfast meeting also.  We will be looking into some kind of
virtual meeting and/or a modified net for that Saturday on the 145.17
repeater assuming this is not tied up with some other emergency traffic.
We will send any updates via the reflector and new information will be
delivered on the Tuesday net.  I’ll handle the testing schedule at ARRL.  

 

This is serious and we are the vulnerable group.   Get ready.
