BLT-59 had a great RELEASE earlier this morning, and a nice flight all day today. Many thanks to everyone that came out to support our BLT team today.

It appears to have broken past the 40k mark, so that’s really fantastic to see.

 

It’s pretty far South over the Gulf of Mexico right now, out of APRS range, so we have been trying to catch some WSPR packets, but none received for several hours.

 

It may be a day or two before it’s over any APRS covered areas, so we’ll be watching most impatiently for some time now for it’s next awakening. 😊

 

Pictures and videos of the release gathering this morning will be available after we get them all collected. We even have some drone footage as well.
