Info on the sat station planned for Transtar. I’m trying to work through the security and logistics problems with the higher-ups .
In the meantime, you can get familiar with satellite tracking RF links and beacons with this site without any special software. https://www.n2yo.com/. Some other software out there that is pretty good is Orbitron, MultiPSK and HRD (paid)

Mark,
Here's an update on the sat station for you as it may offer the Oak Forest club some opportunities in the coming months.
* The Icom 9700 has been installed and is operational on 2m and easy to add 440, both using dual band verticals on the roof.
* The SATPC32 software has been installed on 2 PCs and so 2 independent monitors are available for tracking, clusters etc. Both can be projected on to the overhead monitors
* Over the next month, Peter and I will be doing configuration
* We are running low loss cable for 144/440/1200 to the tower on the roof so are planning to install az/el antennas in the coming months
The aim is to have the station fully operational and ready for Field Day in June, so you and the club are welcome to use it as well as the other radios.
I will be hosting your meetings in March and also June so can assist with whatever you want to do with it on those days
* For example, if you wanted to talk about satellite topics, Kepler etc in March as prep for Field Day, I can remote access the PCs from the meeting room to show the satellite paths and tracking etc
* We can spend a couple of hours, perhaps in early March, running over the station operation. And then perhaps an update in June before the Field Day, depending on how you want to use it.
The room is small, so is not suitable for the whole meeting to be there, but we are able to do a lot with remote access.
So, there is no big rush, but have a think how you want to use it.. This is early notice, just to tell you what is available if you want to use it.
Cheers
