[OFARC] need FT8 help

my copy of WSJT-X  has stopped decoding.

It was doing just fine for 2 years, even with updates of the version.

My last successful contact was Nov 11 with version  2.2.1   .... i have 
been trying to trouble shoot it since then.

i tried installing WSJT-S v2.2.2 to see if the old decode algorithm was 
no longer used.

new operating system is UBUNTU 20.4.1 ( i upgraded from UBUNTU 18.04 
some time in November)

the new version of WSJT-X (ver 2.3.0_rc2)says it is compatible with the 
new version of UBUNTU.
