I think some of the hands on the three of us did during the tech class could be done as as stand alone casses.

Not only that, I think this is something we should reach out to all clubs about.  Have a class with a meeting.  Have meeting only for members or for those interested in joining.  Then open up for class.

HC ARES had something like this 10 years ago, but it droped out.

I think BVARC last year at the meeting for the ARRL election wanted to for using an extinct culb, a council of club presidents.  I think this is a good idea.  With two extra parties:  ARES and MARS. Such a goupcould help and promote training.

I recall hearing statements at a meeting last year about the club mentoring
new comers to Amateur Radio.

 

We have excellent presentations that can help newbies and seasoned operators
alike, but are you aware of anyone doing such activity outside of meetings??

 

Just wondering.
