[OFARC] 2m antenna plans

A new magazine started in January 2020

It is called On The Air (OTA) and is published by ARRL

 

The first issue included Instructions for building a ground plane antenna.
I have attached a clipping of those instructions for you.

 

The article gives dimensions for 2m (144 MHz) and 70cm (440 MHz)

 

Home depot will will have most of the items, but not the connector.SO239

EPO should have them in stock.

You will need to :

*         solder the connections

*         Test the tuning/SWR & adjust the antenna

 

If you don't know how, we can have a group build project one day in May or
at Field Day.
