[OFARC] FW: Transtar rooms not available

I am thinking this is a nice way of saying we do not know the CV19 situation for the rest of the year.  Though we and ARES have had snafus in presentations in both rooms.

That means HC ARES is shut out.

See this regarding the status of Transtar.  I’m not sure why work on the EOC would affect the conference rooms but this is the report. I’ll see if I can get a few more details on this.

Except for missing breakfast and the radio room,  I kind of like the online meetings anyway.

We have been advised that Harris County is starting a new EOC upgrade so rooms 120 A/B will be unavailable for the duration of 2020.

So, unfortunately, Transtar cannot host the Oak Forest ARC meetings until the upgrade is complete.
