[OFARC] Field Day set up question

Advice/comments please..

 

The rules say we can set up starting 7pm the Friday before Field Day

Our site in my neighborhood will include some outside players..CERT,
Constable?, City Council rep?

We will also have some hams show up who have never been to a field day.

 

In order to make things easier/smoother on Saturday morning I am thinking
about hanging the antennas Friday evening

(I am sure I can get at least one of my neighbors to help)

By doing so, I can be inside the building directing set up of displays,
greeting newcomers, and answering questions.

 

I can be at the site by 0800 easily ( . 0700 if I get some sleep!)

 

Your thoughts please..
