Harris County has several CERT training classes planned.

CERT Team Training is being scheduled at the following locations 

 

Southeast Houston Area CERT training will be held at the Magnolia Place

The city of Pasadena and BayCERT will host CERT training at Pasadena Fire
Department Station #5, 4725 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77503. The
training, which is free and open to the public, will be held Saturdays from
9 a.m. - 4 p.m., beginning January 11, 2020 and ending February 1, 2020. To

The Jim & JoAnn Fonteno Senior Education Center will be offering CERT
Training at 6600 Bissonnet Street, Houston, TX  77074.  Training is free and
open to residents of Harris County that are 55 or older and you will need to
register.  Classes will be held on Mondays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, starting
March 30, 2020 and ending May 18, 2020.  To register, contact Fonteno SEC at

Glenshire CERT training will be held at the Glenshire Community Building,
8900 Abbeydale Dr., Houston, TX 77031. The training, which is free and open
to the public, will be held on Mondays from 6:30-9:30 p.m., beginning
January 6 and ending March 2, 2020 (no class January 20). For registration

The Humble Area CERT will host CERT training at the Harris County Fire and
Sheriff Training Academy, 2316 Atascocita Road, Humble, Texas 77396.
Training will be held each Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., beginning
March 17, 2020 and ending May 5, 2020. For more information and

HC ESD 48 Fire Department and Katy Area CERT will be offering CERT Training
at the HC ESD 48 FD, Station 5, located at 21201 Morton Road, Katy, TX
77449 between North Fry Road and North Mason Road.  Training is FREE and
open to the public.  Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm
to 9:30 pm, starting March 18, 2020 and ending May 6, 2020. To register,
