[OFARC] FW: Use of N5TRS 145.37 Repeater for Oak Forest Club Weekly Net as Backup

All, Since the 06 repeater is temporarily relocated and not easily reachable
to the club members, I secured access to the Transtar repeater from the
trustee, Joey Clements as a backup for our regular net. This is an open
repeater so anyone is free to use this machine.

Call: N5TRS

Output Frequency: 145.37

Negative offset

Tone 123 Hz

30 mile radius

We are ready to go.

Yes please use it at will.
Glad you are getting your meetings going. Let me know if you need speakers
or projects for your meetings.

Backup

Joey,

The Oak Forest ARC has a Tuesday weekly net on the KA5QDG 145.17 repeater.
We use 147.06 as a backup but this repeater is down for service. We would
like permission to use the 145.37 repeater at Transtar as a backup for our
weekly net. Obviously we would be secondary to any priority activity on the
repeater.

Also, we really appreciate the use of the Transtar conference center for our
club meetings. We are also encouraging the members to be more active on the
Transtar repeaters in general.

Thanks,

Mark Landress WB5ANN
