[OFARC] Hamfest & scout table

So far I have one Scout leader signed on and our own Mike (KD5MVL).

Anyone else willing to take some time from their hamfest schedule to help??

Subject: [OFARC] Hamfest & scout table

A representative of ARRL and BSA have asked me to manage a table at the
Houston Hamfest.

The purpose is to promote joint activities between radio amateurs and
scouts, with an emphasis on getting radios set up at scout camps through out
the year.

More details to follow, but I will need 5-6 people to help for short periods
at the table.

Please reply directly to me if you will be able to assist at the table.

Just FIY ..... The local council (SHAC) is also working to have amateur
radio and emergency communication vans present at the Scout Fair in April.
