John,
Thanks for sending. Drilling down on some of the links, I particularly liked finding the training course by K7QO. I’ve downloaded the ISO and mounted it using IMdisk. Lots of mp3’s (>400) that can be added to itunes playlists and then create audio CDs if you choose. For other “learners” in the club, I’ll bring my notebook PC to the next meeting and make the files available in whatever form you’d like. All the mp3’s will fit on one CDROM; audio CD’s containing playlist tracks will require a couple of dozen or so. If you’re interested, bring enough blank media to meet your requirements. In the meantime, you might enjoy reading the manual included with the course (see attached).
73,
Barry KG5IRR

Subject: [OFARC] Learning Morse Code
For the several people at the meeting today who asked about learning Morse,
this PDF will give some tips.
Another help is to learn the characters in alphabetical order.
That eliminates comparing any one character to other characters.
Thinking about what is the reverse, inverse or converse of a character
sabotages learning the instant recognition you need for rapid progress.
