[OFARC] Possible Activities

At last Saturday's OFARC meeting, there was some discussion regarding a
general desire for the club to have more activities.
We have lots of new members, many of whom are new to radio.
Activities help inform newcomers, encourage people to get involved, and
keep the interest of those who may have become "too comfortable" with
the status quo.
This does not mean something is wrong with the club, it is just a cycle
every club goes through.
I think OFARC is a GREAT club and I am proud to be part of it.
Personally, I would like
* build some kits
* learn how to do more of the basic measurements/testing
* Have someone describe tube operation for us compared to solid state
* the club could offer a technician or extra level class
In addition, I noticed the BVARC club is having a similar discussion on
their reflector.
With respect to our brothers in Sugarland, I have borrowed from their
reflector and posted below as a source of some ideas.
Let's get a discussion going on our reflector and start some activities
