[OFARC] Wyla Wilkie - Viewing at Carter Funeral Home on Saturday March 12, 5:00PM - 8:00PM

Fellow members of Oak Forest Amateur Radio Club, 

Mrs Wyla Wilkie, wife of Mr Richard Wilkie (N5SPU). passed away suddenly on March 9, 2016. 

Some of our newer members of the club remember Wyla from her presence at recent club events such as our yearly Christmas luncheon, Field Day, and JOTA activities. However, there is more to know about Mrs Wilkie. I was reminded by Rick (KE5AOA), that she was a professional photographer with a successful business, and documented our club in action during the early days, especially at Field Day events. Wyla was very supportive of Dick's passion for radio, and accompanied him to many events to demonstrate her support. 

We will all miss you, Wyla.
