[OFARC] problem hitting repeater

regarding the 145.170 repeater ......
I have had problems getting into the machine for a couple weeks.
I considered climbing my tree to check the antenna (at about 40 ft. up) but my knees advised me otherwise.
Thinking about it, I realized that I could hit every other repeater that I normally use .... 2m and 440.
Others reported having difficulty getting into the repeater too.
Just now (Saturday evening) I tried again and hit the repeater no problem.
So, I am thinking it was something to do with the repeater.
When I had this problem Last year the repeater antenna had been temporarily moved to a spot the north side of the building, apparently putting a wall between me and the antenna.
Perhaps it happened again.
If anyone talks with Wayne, ask him about it.
If the repeater did not change, then I will need to check my coax for loose connections

Ralph,
At the meeting Saturday, I was testing several of the antennas we built. None of the 3-4 that i tried could hit the 170 repeater strong enough to make the trip. All of them easily hit the w5bsa repeater on the west side of town. Now I'm wondering if the problem is at the repeater since you are having so many problems too.

Normally It is no problem.
I have no problems hitting the 146.92 and 146.940 machines
I spoke with a fellow on the 146.92 repeater and he said my signal was strong and clean but he was not able to hit the 145.17 machine either
Is there anything going on with the repeater?
I know the antenna was moved out of place last year.
Thanks
Ralph
