I thought I should update hte group on plans for JOTA to help streamline the discussion at the club meeting this Saturday.

a.. My contact at The Sam Houston Area Council (SHAC) HQ has confirmed we will have power, tables and floor space to use at the HQ building. We also have permission to set up antennas in the patio area of the main entrance.
b.. A few of the items needed have been spoken for. I have updated the list below. Please review and tell me what you can provide.
c.. We have presented amateur radio to the Aquila district (Westbury/bellaire area) and have been invited by the Twin Bayou District (Westheimer area). The presentation will be Oct 8 at St. John the Divine Church.
d.. I have received a request from one troop to teach the radio merit badge. It will be in Sugarland Sept 30 and Oct 7.
