[OFARC] Fwd: Texas state parks on the air

Terry,

I recognize N5SPU and a Buddipole.  From the many years Dick supported
communications at the Houston Marathon I know he performed well at Sheldon.
How well did the Buddipole?  That is, how many contacts on what bands did
you make?

I now live in Johnson City, TN and used my Buddipole for the 10-10 contest
in February on my balcony which is 8 ft in the air.  AZ and ND were among
my contacts, but did not hear any of the usual suspects from Houston. I had
a restricted time to work which limited my opportunities to hear them.  I
had a prior commitment this weekend so I could not get on the air.
