Almost looks like we know what we are doing with this project.

I have completed the basic construction of the 20m filter and ran a test
All i have to do now is put some metal over the large holes of the case to
give RF protection
I made the internal shield from a “tall boy” can of Arizona Tea
easy to cut and shape ... and FREE!!
photos attached.
To run a crude test of the assembly I hooked it between my transceiver and
the external tuner
set power to 50 W and put the tuner to the dummy load
I set the frequency to each end and middle of the 20m band and keyed up on
AM mode.....full 50W to the dummy load
* 10.14 Mhz, 1 Watt to the dummy dummy load
* 7.290 MHz 0 watts
* 18.010 MHz 1 W
* 21.010MHz 0 watts
I will finish it for the next meeting and look forward to Mark running the
frequency response test.
(I will write up some lessons from my construction efforts and send out
over the weekend.)
