For those of you that like shopping at the RESTORE place on 249, it has just moved to Jones and Grant into the old Randall's store. They have just about anything in surplus building materials home appliances appliances, hardwood flooring and on and on. This store is full of stuff for a fraction of new prices. It is a outlet store for the Habitat for the Humanities. You can bargain for items and they will usually make you deal. The employees are very friendly and courteous and there is a lot of them. lt is a lot of like Goodwill store but more into building materials and home appliances and load of other stuff.
It reminds me of the old Madison Electronic Store in down town Houston years ago. Give it a try now that it is in a more convenient location.
I even saw an old Ansel Adams print there ......I'm sure it was a dupe but was surprised to find something he did in a store like that.
