Subject: QST Oak Forest Club Activity KUHF Transmitter


All:  This is for Oak Forest Radio Club members and selected other hams on the list. 

On Saturday April 23, there will be a tour of the KUHF transmitter facility in Missouri City.  The location is at McHard Road and Blue Ridge at the antenna farm.  See the attached map.  Individuals that would like to attend may bring their wives / kids who might be interested.  The location is a bit cramped but we can probably accomodate you. 

We meet at Denny's at 34th and 290 for breakfast, ready to eat at 8:00 AM and will leave directly from there to the site.  Otherwise you can meet us there no later than 10:00 AM sharp.   Dress accordingly.

Talk in will be on 145.17 with the alternate on 147.06.  (PL123) usual split.
