All,

We are offering the "Highway Watch" training here at the Regional
Emergency Operations Center (REOC). This is a simple 2 hour training
program sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security. I have attached
a link to their web site.

www.HighwayWatch.com

Graduates of this class will receive a reference booklet, a certificate,
and an identification number that they can use to report suspicious
activity that they may encounter during the course of their normal duties
out on Northern Nevada roads.

We are offering this class here at the REOC (5195 Spectrum Blvd) On
Thursday May 24th at 9:00 AM, and again at 1:00 PM.

We have plenty of room in both classes. The target audience is
County/City Public Works, Bus Drivers, Truck Drivers, Private Businesses,
and Citizen Volunteers, ham radio ops. Again, anyone who spends their
time driving our public roads is welcome to attend.

I look forward to hearing your feedback for potential attendees. This will
be a great opportunity to familiarize our "eyes and ears" out on the
street with this valuable program, as well as our regional emergency
management facility/plans.

Please e-mail me with who can attend...

Thanks,

Aaron Keniston
