[NvHam] Special Amateur Radio Exams

The Comstock Amateur Radio Association (K6ALT) will administer  W5YI, VE
Exams for Technician, General and Extra licenses on Saturday, January 7th
at 4:30 p.m.. The location of the exams is the Regional Emergency
Operations Center (REOC) 5195 Spectrum Blvd., Reno.  The 5 wpm code test
will also be given.

Commercial Radio Examination will also be given. Please contact Don
Freeman, W7FD  at 775-851-1176 to make arrangements.

Please bring a picture ID and the original and a copy of your FCC license
if you are upgrading. The cost of an amateur examination will be $14.

Driving directions:  From the "spaghetti bowl," North on 395 to
Parr/Dandini exit,
East on Dandini Blvd., 3/4 around the traffic circle (you will see the
REOC concrete sign).
North on Spectrum (the long driveway from the traffic circle).
