Field Day and the Pony Express race from Austin to Battle
Mountain will be held on the weekend of June 26th-27th.

Our plan is to setup Field Day in either Austin or Battle
Mountain and extend an open invitation for anyone interested to
participate.

There's a lot involved to setting up, operating then breaking
down the operation so anyone can participate to whatever extent
works for you. There'll be HF ops there so Tech Class ops can sit
down alongside and give it a whirl.

Where we set up depends on who wants to participate and where
they'd be traveling from so let me know ASAP if you'll want to
get involved this year.

Last year we operated as a 2A from the Elko Airport and were the
top scoring operation statewide in our class. The only entry
doing better was the big 5A setup in Clark County which usually
involves several clubs. The point separation wasn't all that
much. Would be fun to pull together and kick Clark county's butt.
