[NvHam] K7ZAU SK and Change of RARA Meeting Place

As some of you know, George Lyle K7ZAU of Carson City became a silent
key during the morning of Thursday, July 24th.

There will be an informal memorial remembrance for George this Saturday,
August 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the home or Reid and Barbara Ross
W7HOP and K7KCY at 4200 Emerson Drive, Carson City.  A map can be found at

As Ross describes it, "It's going to be a drop by affair. Inviting friends
to share memories of George with his family."

Refreshments will be served.

Because this is the same morning as the regularly scheduled RARA meeting,
the meeting has been changed from Hawthorne to Carson City.  The meeting
will begin at 10:00 a.m. and folks should have plenty of time afterwards
to pay their respects to George.

The RARA meeting will be held at the Hilltop Community Church off Highway
395 at the south end of Carson City.  It is on the east side of the
highway, directly opposite the big Home Depot which is on the west side.
At the traffic light at the top of the hill, instead of turning right to
go to Home Depot, turn left onto Sunridge Drive. Drive about a quarter-
mile and then turn right onto a paved road that will lead you into the
church complex.  We will be in the "small sanctuary" which is at the west
end of the small north-most building.
