[NvHam] 2003 Reno Hamfest Cancelled

 From the March 2003 issue of "Cracklin' Static," the newsletter of the 
Sierra Nevada Amateur Radio Society:

"Based on input from the membership present at the February breakfast and 
discussion among the Board of Directors at their February meeting, SNARS 
will be foregoing its July hamfest in favor of partnering with RAMS and the 
UNR Radio Pack in the Reno Spring Hamswap to be held on Saturday, May 
10.  The location for this event will be the Reno headquarters of the 
Salvation Army at the corner of Sutro and Oddie.  More details will be 
forthcoming as planning continues."

It is gratifying to see these three organizations working together to put 
on a superior event.  When clubs work together, everybody wins!
