Herman,

It was my wish to respond to you earlier, but knew I had to be out of town on business all next week.

I am interested in helping with early traffic net.  Fridays would be better for me, but appears Bill has taken that role over.

Normally, when I have to travel, I am back home by Friday.

Beginning last month graphical charts of traffic activity for NTX
related traffic nets in and the DFW Traffic Net(s) are being posted.
To view, follow the "Administrativa" link on the root page and scroll
down.

We are looking for operators willing to serve as Net Control Stations
for both the Early and Late nets. Openings exist on Wednesday and
Friday for the Early Net as well as Monday and Tuesday on the Late
Net. Please contact one of the managers or call us on the air after
the net if you are interested.

The net roster is woefully out of date. If you have registered with
the net at any time in the past or would like to do so now, please
send mail to <register at dfwtrafficnet.com>. Include your callsign, full
name, address, telephone number, email address, license class and
traffic handling capabilities (the modes and bands on which you can
operate), along with the areas to which you can deliver traffic by a
toll free phone call. While this action is not required, it does
assist the NCS with directing traffic to the most appropriate station
for delivery.
