The January meeting minutes were sent to the club reflector on 2/21. No corrections or additions were received.
Treasurer’s Report – Cam Coble for Steve Allen
Club finances in good shape. Renewals for 2026 are going strong, please get them in if you have not already done so. The club received a nice thank you letter from City of Refuge for the $300 donation (we missed last year so this we doubled up this time.)
WinLink Update – Danny Wylam
Brush Mountain is working fine. Cloyd Mountain is off the air, hoping to replace the laptop.
Repeater Update – Mike Herring
Having more noise issues lately. Will set up a PC with a Software Defined Radio to analyze the spectrum.

New Business
Pete Burkey, W3WEQ Silent Key
Several members shared their memories about Pete. Christopher Peters will draft a letter to his family about making a contribution in his honor. Club members approved $75 for this purpose.
Possible Silent Key page for website – Rick Armstrong
Rick shared a proposal to develop a silent key page for the website, with a photo and link to obituary for each individual. Len Sutphin made a motion to approve, which Mike Herring seconded. All members attending voted favor.
VHF+ Capability Startup – Cam Coble
Cam discussed the possibility of the club buying an ICOM 9700 radio which is capable of going up the 1.2 GHz. A VHF/UHF radio with upper and lower sideband is much cheaper.
