Hi Cam, 

It’s been a while for me to check into one of your monthly meetings via Zoom. All’s good here. I’ve been busy. Just returned last night from a 3 week trip to Lynchburg. Don’t know if I told you but in April my wife and I bought a second home in Lynchburg that’s back to back with our daughter’s house. It’s a fixer upper and had been unoccupied for over 8 years when we bought it. So, I’ve been busy. I was hoping to come to Bedford for your special event but timing didn’t work unfortunately. ☹

 

The club here occasionally does a 40m net using NVIS antennas. I see on the website that there are 2- 40m ‘hamsticks’ available from Jim’s estate. Assuming they are still available, (Hamstick and TenTec ones), I’d be interested in purchasing both, but probably not if only one is available. I think they might be ideal for a simple and quick to set up dipole. Let me know if they are, and if so, I’ll mail you guys a check. If someone could hold on to them that would be great! I’ll pick them up next time I come to a meeting, hopefully later this summer or fall. I’ll let you know when I’m coming. 

 

I’m still collecting content for the SK webpage (but not much in the last couple months as you might guess). I’ll send you what I have this week so you can get started, as your time permits. 😊  I know you’re a busy guy with lots of balls in the air.
