I had the opportunity to talk with Pete's son Ken yesterday. Please keep him, his sister Brook and her husband in your prayers. 

They're dealing with lots of issues and this has been an emotional time for them as well. He knows to reach out to Danny if there's anything the club can do.

Very sad news.  Pete was one of the first hams that I met in this area and was unforgettable for sure.  Prayers for the family.
