[nrv-hams] Follow-Up Details From February Club meeting

This is a follow-up to our club meeting on Feb 24th to give more
information on things we discussed.

Want to share our hobby with folks looking for new things to do? This is
the perfect opportunity to share! This program offers a catalog of courses
full of great hobbies and activities, and they are looking for more all the
time. Amateur radio would be a welcome addition to their upcoming courses!
I would love to see someone from our club want to take on this opportunity
to share the best hobby in the world!

VA Medical Reserve Corps - https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/mrc/
There are opportunities for ham radio operators to help with localities
during deployments. More details can be found on their website, or email
Susannah Marley, Medical Reserve Corps Coordinator at

New Net Control script and Emergency Communications Training document are
available.
We're going to try to combine some training along with our normal net to
bring additional information to our repeater users/listeners. I hope you'll
be patient with us as we work this into a smooth operation.

club. We'd like to recognize those giving toward the club and our sharing
of the hobby. If you wish NOT to be listed, please let me know and we will
remove the reference, or list as "anonymous". I've gone back to fill in
