That's rather surprising but I guess reflects the fact that this particular anniversary doesn't end in a five or a zero so it doesn't get as much attention!

For those wanting a French take on D-Day I found these two video clips:

The first is a short clip about a coded message broadcast by the BBC shortly before the D-Day invasion giving the French resistance a "heads up" as it were so they would also be ready to spring into action.  The code phrase roughly translates to "the long sobs of the violins of Autumn" and comes from a French poem.

I looked at the French national society’s events calendar on line but don’t
see anything there about D-Day. The Radio Society of Great Britain often
posts information about special events on X, formerly Twitter, but they
