Old Business

Audie Murphy Special Event Planning – Danny Wylam
Plan to go up the mountain at 9:00 AM to setup and be on the air starting at 10:00 AM. There will be 3 stations operating. A reminder that there are no facilities at the site. Call sign W2A. Bringing canopy to cover equipment as forecast is for rain.

D-Day Special Event Planning – Danny Wylam
The memorial opens at 9:00 AM. Admission is free until noon. Will have 3 stations. Want to get one on the air early to try to contact France. Ceremony runs 11:00 to Noon so will not be on the air during that time. Will resume operations and plan to continue till 3:00 PM. Food trucks and public restrooms are available on site.

New Business
Field Day Planning – Cam Coble
Everything will be at Randolph Park. Will operate 3 stations and setup much like last year but may not need a generator this time since there now should be power at the site. This will reduce expenses. Several club members offered to bring food of various kinds. Equipment is all ready to go. Thanks to purchases in recent years everything needed is club owned. Cam will sent out emails with final details.

New Quadplexer for club use – Mike Herring made a motion, Kay Craigie seconded. Approved purchase up to $550 with all in favor.

Training during nets - How are we doing? – Cam Coble
Seems to be going well. Not generating much discussion on the net but have heard some positive comments

Blings n Things – “Ham Universe: Satellites Made Simple” – Cam demonstrated how to work amateur satellites and track their orbits

Reminder that the 13 Colonies special event is first week in July.

Reminder no June meeting because of Field Day.

Meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM

There were a total of 12 attendees (10 in person, 2 online)
