[nrv-hams] 20M noise level

Today , Tuesday,  7/15/25,  about 1410 Pulaski Time,

I tuned to 13.845, AM,  I recognized International broadcast of religious media.  

Signal strength varied from weak to extremely strong.

My guess is that a receiver with first I.F., at or about 455 kHz would have image at about 14.300 mhz.

The signal was so strong that even with an antenna tuner in front of my rig, it was there.

Suggest that you check your receiver’s I.F..  If  this is the problem, it can be solved with filters.

I think transmitter is in Florida.
