Secretary’s Report – Edward Lener
The August meeting minutes were sent to the club reflector on 9/22. No corrections or additions were received.

Treasurer’s Report – Steve Allen
Club finances in good shape. Will start collecting soon for 2025.

WinLink Update – Danny Wylam
One on Cloyd’s Mountain is working again.

Repeater Update – Mike Herring and Cam Coble
Repeaters are linked again. Still getting some interference with the Cloyd’s Mountain repeater.

Old Business

JOTA/JOTI Event – Cam Coble
Oct 18-20 at Camp Powhatan, hope to go up with one station on Saturday, Oct. 19.

D-Day Memorial Special Event – Cam Coble
Everything went well on August 10. Club has been invited back for Veteran’s Day in November.  Will have a special call, W2B. Listed in QST and on the ARRL special event website.

Club QSL Card – Cam Coble
Welcome suggestions. Have used ChatGPT to generate some sample ideas.


New Business

November Meeting Date – Cam Coble
November meeting date is very close to Thanksgiving. Will move up one week to Nov.18th.


Blings n Things – Satellite Sensation” – Members talked about their satellite operations, showing equipment and sharing tips for successful satellite contacts
