[nrv-hams] Field Day - Volunteers Needed!

And another thing...
We need volunteers to help run the show! (Saturday, June 22nd)

What do we need?

- Antenna/Setup people - Big plus if you helped us with Winter Field Day,
but not necessary.
Try to show up around 8:30am at the shelter.

- Safety Officer - We need someone (1 or more) willing to follow a
checklist (I already have it printed out) to make sure we're doing all the
right things for safety.

- Information Table Staff - It would be great to have someone there during
our posted hours (2-6pm) to pass out flyers, get folk signed in, and let us
know when they arrive so we can show them around!

- Social Media/Photographer - This can be anyone with a phone camera that's
willing to tag our club and #ARRLFD to Facebook, X (Twitter), or Instagram
during the event.

- Satellite QSO - If you can make a contact for our club at Field Day, that
gives us an additional 100 points. I don't think this has ever been
accomplished at our club field day!

- Invite an elected government official or representative of an agency -
Bring them, sign them in, and we get more points! Besides, I'm sure they
would love to see what we're doing!

- Copy the W1AW Bulletin - There's a pre-defined schedule when W1AW will be
sending information via CW, Phone, and digitally. We need someone to copy
it down so we can send proof that we were listening!

- Bring others, especially youth - Even if you can just drop by, bring
others to share the hobby with them. We may even have them sit down and
make a few contacts for us if they would like to try!

Please let me know if you really feel called to perform any of the
functions above! Remember, this is a club effort, so let's have some fun
together!
