The library storage facility is not intended for public gatherings or meetings. I wasn't there but it sounds as though there was a lot going on last night and as a one-off last-minute solution that space seems to have worked out OK. However, I think any plans to use it again or to designate it as some kind of official secondary meeting location for the club would definitely need to first be run by the library administration.

Thanks Patrick,
We really appreciate the use of those facilities, and things happen... no
apology necessary!
I think (as long as it's OK with Christopher) that we could just fall back
to the Library Storage facility as plan-b. That way, we remove the
dependency on the fire station completely if we need to divert.
The lesson learned from last night was that we need to have a clear
understanding of the club communication venues to update people.
There's absolutely no way for us to call people to give an update, so the
next best thing is to keep members apprised of any changes via email
reflector.
The email reflector has to be our first line of communication to our
membership, but it will be on the members to check their emails for
updates. If you see something isn't quite right, check your email. If you
don't have access to email, well, you're probably not reading this, and
we'll have to figure something else out! LOL!
Anyways, thanks everyone for remaining flexible for the meeting last night,
and big thanks to Christopher for having that alternative lined up.
73!
