Resuming VE Test Sessions – Len Sutphin

Only one person responded to the initial call but several more came forward
at Monday’s meeting. We need at least four VE’s present during the exam so

Due to weather the Foxhunt originally planned for Saturday, Oct. 1 was
rescheduled to the 8th and began after the club breakfast at Country
Kitchen. A full report with photos is available at

Carlos N4OTX.

Will resume in the spring, may coordinate with the Roanoke club.

Nominating Committee – Cam Coble

Will recommend a slate of officers at the November meeting

Let Sutphin, KC5EJR, will chair.

Other members are Jim Hassell, W4BEA, and Mike Herring, KE4RGY.

Room acoustics – Cam will investigate options for a microphone for our next
meeting. Depending on who is speaking it is hard for virtual participants
to hear what is being said.

Members shared what are the oddest things they have heard through their ham
radio gear.

Meeting adjourned at 8:05 PM.
