*Reports*
Secretary’s Report – Edward Lener
Full report sent to club reflector on May 23rd. Ed apologized for the late
distribution (thought it had previously been sent to everyone but actually
only went to officers.) Main item of business from the last meeting was the
approval of $1,000 towards the purchase of new equipment.
Treasurer’s Report – Steve Allen
Club is in good standing. Steve shared the latest budget numbers and noted
that he had now paid the annual insurance bill on club equipment along with
the annual fee to the state corporation commission. He also thanked those
who had recently made a donation.
WinLink Update – Danny Wylam
Following last month’s repairs everything now seems to be working well
again.
Repeater Update – Cam Coble for Mike Herring
Received an offer to donate some equipment – Kenwood TKR-750 VHF FM
Repeater Base Unit in very good condition. Mike will take possession on
behalf of the club and do some testing. Assuming everything checks out it
will likely be used to replace one of our older units.
*Old Business*
Updates on Club Purchases – Cam Coble
Ordered needed items from list, new DX Commander antenna arrived
surprisingly quickly even though coming from the UK. Received several
donations for smaller items on the list such as coax and extension cords.

have call sign W2A. QSO cards have been printed. Everyone is encouraged to

*New Business*
Recommendations for Club Purchase – Cam Coble
Trying to develop three complete stations and want to have everything
together for each. Developed a list of items needed, with estimated costs
for each. Extensive discussion followed, with priorities determined for
each item. The largest single item was a new antenna.
Christopher Peters made a motion, seconded by Cindy Turner, to allocate
$1,000 to buy the highest ranked items on the list. A roll call vote was
held and the motion passed unanimously. Cam will also solicit donations
for some of the more common items on the list to help extend the club’s
buying power and fill as many of the identified needs as possible.
Parks on the Air – Cam Coble
Cam discussed his participation in Parks on the Air (POTA) and showed a
portable station he sometimes uses for this purpose.
*Blings n Things* – “Da Dit Da Dit”
Members shared their call sign in CW.
Meeting adjourned at 8:15 PM.
There were a total of 12 attendees (6 in-person, and 6 on Zoom)
Reminder – no club meeting in June. Hope to see everyone at Field Day!
