Thanks, Cam W4XXV, for the 13 Colonies contact with K2B on 40 meters FT8 this morning. I was the operator at that time. For people who have July 4 off and work 40 meters phone, I will be operating as K2B from 9 to 11 AM Monday morning. I don't know a specific frequency yet, so check the cluster using that handy filter Cam posted a few days ago.

The most interesting contact I've had so far while operating as K2B was Friday morning on 40 meters phone, when I was called by W3SA. The previous holder of that call sign, a Silent Key for several years now, gave me my Novice license test in 1982. The system was very different back then.
