Happy MLK day. Hope everyone's power stays on and that you are able to dig
out OK from the weekend's snowfall.

A reminder that our first club meeting of the year will be next Monday,
January 24th at 7:00 PM. I'll send out an agenda with full details soon. We
will be talking about plans for Winter Field Day but please send me any
other topics you would like added for discussion.

I had sent them out previously but, since it has been awhile, I am also
resending the minutes of our last meeting below. Let me know if any
corrections or additions are needed.

New River Valley Amateur Radio Club

Meeting was held over the air on club repeaters due to COVID-19 concerns.
In addition, a simultaneous Zoom session was held.



Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM

Full report sent to club reflector on Nov. 17th. No corrections or
additions received.



Treasurer’s Report – Steve Allen

Club is in good standing - Email for further details.

2022 renewals starting to come in, can be done by Paypal at
https://www.n4nrv.org/apply/ or by mailing a check to Steve.



WinLink Update – Danny Wylam

Tested things this morning and both gateways are working. Let him know if
you encounter any problems using the system.



Repeater Update – Mike Herring

Nothing special to report. Things seem to be working well.

Club Build Project – Cam Coble

Have 8 people who signed up, registration is now closed.

Just finished session #2. Plan to share recordings for anyone interested.

Membership Renewals – Steven Allen

Encourage people to get their renewals in early. Helps the club know where
we stand.

*New Business*

Nominating Committee – Len Sutphin

The committee was selected at the October club meeting. Members include Len
Sutphin, chair, Cindy Turner, and James Pascoe.  The nominating committee
has asked each of the existing officers to stay another year and all have
accepted. The committee gave the following recommendations:

President - Cam Coble

Vice President - Christopher Peters

Treasurer - Steve Allen

Secretary - Edward Lener



Jim, W4BEA moved to accept; Bill, W4CQV seconded, A roll call vote was held
and all were in favor.



*Blings n Things* – Give Kris Kringle a Jingle



Members discussed what they would like to see in their Christmas stocking.



Meeting adjourned at 7:50 PM.
