7/25/2022



New River Valley Amateur Radio Club

April 2022 marked the return to in-person club meetings, with the meeting
held at the Pulaski County School Board Building. In addition, a
simultaneous Zoom session was held.



Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM



Welcome and brief instructions from Cam Coble as President

Check-in of officers

Check-ins of members and others (In-person attendees first, then those on
Zoom)

Secretary’s Report – Edward Lener

Full report sent to club reflector on June 23rd.



Treasurer’s Report – Steve Allen

Club is in good standing. There were two more renewals and a donation from
Rick Armstrong.



WinLink Update – Danny Wylam

Everything seems to be working well.



Repeater Update – Mike Herring

Repeaters are working well. May need to check on a few items soon. Let him
know if any issues.

Field Day Report – Cam Coble

Cam shared a detailed review of points and activities at the recent Field
Day event.

A vote was also taken to approve a new Husky took chest to help store
equipment.



Donation for Use of Randolph Park – Cam Coble

We regularly make a donation to the Rock Youth Center in Pulaski as thank
you for the use of park facilities.  After discussion a vote was held and a
donation of $100 was approved unanimously.



Note – Due to a recent name change the facility is now known as City of
Refuge Pulaski (https://www.cityofrefugepc.org/)



New Member Applications.

Both were approved after a vote of the members.



Winter Build Project Ideas? – Cam Coble

Cam discussed a few possible projects for this year’s winter build project
and sought feedback and additional suggestions.

Members shared their favorite ways to listen to the Ham Bands
