New River Valley Amateur Radio Club

Meeting was held over the air on club repeaters due to COVID-19 concerns.
In addition, a simultaneous Zoom session was held.



Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM



Welcome and brief instructions from Cam Coble as President



Check-in of officers

First round of check-ins of members and other listeners

Secretary’s Report – Cam Coble for Edward Lener

Full report sent to club reflector on March 10th. No corrections or
additions received.



Treasurer’s Report – Steve Allen and Cam Coble

Club is in good standing.

The audit committee completed it’s review of club finances and praised
Steve for his efforts.



WinLink Update – Danny Wylam

May need a new TNC for one of the repeaters.  Cam indicated he has an extra
one if needed.



Repeater Update – Mike Herring

Everything appears to be working normally.

Field Day Preparations – Cam Coble

Will be at Randolph Park again on the last weekend in June. Plan to have a
cookout which we could not do last year. Everyone should come and have a
good time!



VE Testing – Ben Williams

Reminder that the new $35 FCC fee for licensing is going into effect in
April.



*Blings n Things* – “To Log or Not to Log?”



Members discussed if they log their contacts and what method they use.
