received for 2021. Also have one new member application.

observed. Please pass along information on any problems to him.

Both gateways were tested earlier today and are working.
Second round of check-ins of members and other listeners
*Old Business*

congratulations to James Pascoe, KN4MKX as the overall winner for the year
and recipient of the prize, a solar charger from West Mountain Radio.

check to Steve Allen or use the new online payment system.
Third and final call for check-ins.
*New Business*
New member application received for Roy Wall, W4DFD. Cam Coble shared some
brief information. Motion for acceptance by Cindy Turner and seconded by
Jim Hassell. The motion passed without objection.
Presentation on Club Directions – Cam Coble
Cam shared a detailed presentation he prepared on club directions for 2021
and unveiled a new slogan – Let’s Radiate! The full presentation is also
available on the club’s website.
Testing Sessions – Ben Williams
The club is not doing testing sessions at this time but Ben shared
information on several other options including some he is leading. There is
particular interest right now because of the proposed licensing fees which
FCC may soon implement.
Blings n’ Things - Cam Coble
Cam led a brief discussion of possible themes for 2021 and asked that
suggestions be sent to him. A new list will be posted on the club website
soon.
Club Nets – Cam Coble
Ben Williams raised a question prior to the net about moving the club nets
to an earlier time. Currently the Sunday and Thursday nets are both held
starting at 8:00 PM. If our net runs long, this can overlap with the
Friendship Traffic and Information Net which begins at 8:30 PM. Len Sutphin
shared that the nets had once begun at 7:30 PM but have been at the current
start time since at least 2005. Pete Burkey suggested that we wait to make
any decisions on this issue until the club is meeting in person again and
after some further open discussion Cam recommended we adopt this approach.
Meeting adjourned at approximately 8:15 PM
There were a total of 19 check-ins plus net control.
