New River Valley Amateur Radio Club

Meeting was held over the air on club repeaters due to COVID-19 concerns



Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM



Welcome and brief instructions from Cam Coble as President



Check-in of officers



First round of check-ins of members and other listeners



Secretary’s Report – Edward Lener

Full report sent to club reflector on August 22nd.  No corrections or
additions received.



Treasurer’s Report – Steve Allen

Club is in good standing financially. One renewal and one application
received. A detailed report has been shared with club officers.



Repeater Update – Mike Herring

Everything seems to be going well with the repeaters. Please pass along
information on any problems to him.



WinLink Update – Danny Wylam

Both gateways were tested and are working as of this morning.

*Old Business*

Club Contest Update –Everyone is encouraged to record their contacts and
submit online.  Congratulations to James Pascoe, KN4MKX as the winner for
June.





*New Business*

New member application was received from Randy Shake, KC9LC.

Randy is a former member and has sent his dues in for both 2020 and 2021.

Cam made a call for any objections, concerns, or further discussion
regarding his application.  Hearing none Randy’s membership in the club was
approved.



Third and final call for check-ins.





*Blings n Things *

Theme was “Hello Audio” – a chance to talk about external speakers or audio
device used for radio listening.



Meeting adjourned at approximately 7:35 PM

There were a total of 12 check-ins in all.
