Be sure to make time to contact the special event station put on by the
Roanoke Valley Amateur Radio Club - W4CA

They will be operating from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mile Post #189 at the
Ground Hog Mountain Overlook.

Operation will be September 12, 2020 from 1400Z to 2100Z (10A – 5P EDT)

Frequencies will be around 7.245 & 14.245 Mhz.

"Commemorating the beginning of construction of the Blue Ridge Parkway in
September , 1935.    A  469 mile scenic road running along the spine of the
Blue Ridge Mountains through Virginia and North Carolina."
