In the midst of all the world events, we are still going to have Field Day
for 2020, with some altered actions.
- The place is still Randolph Park (we have an alternate location if
needed).
- We will adhere to guidance per the Virginia "Phase" that we will be under
(current impact area is limited to 50 people, so we should be fine).
- Bring your own food (no exchange or potluck this time).
- Bring your own gloves/masks/sanitizer. Please be mindful of the health of
others, especially if sharing any radios or equipment.
- Bring your own headphones with 1/8" stereo plug.
- We will have a "community radio" set up using the club's equipment, and
can wipe down between users.
- Other stations will have an antenna, AC power, laptop, and 12v DC
available for folk to bring in their own radio equipment.
- Danny, AI4RC will be the designated antenna and feedline manager.
- The club will provide bottled water.
If you are feeling ill, or have a fever, please stay home! We don't want
this to be an event remembered for spreading anything!
If you are not comfortable with these measures, please stay home as well.
Ham radio is fun, but not worth THAT sacrifice!
I encourage all to participate in Field Day regardless of whether you can
attend the club function, or do so from home. Get out there, make some
contacts, and enjoy the hobby!

Thank you, and 73!
