Folks,
A friend of mine has a friend in Raleigh who is getting out of ham radio
and has the following items for sale. He's willing to drive half way to
Blacksburg to hand off. Oh, be still my heart! Tube radios.
- Gonset IV Communicator--purchased from a local ham's estate. Before he
used it, it was partly restored by another local ham. It's in nice shape.
I used this one on the area 6M AM net on Monday nights.
- Clegg 99'er, good-but-unrestored shape, unknown working condition
(can't recall if I tried this one out, but it is complete.)
- Clegg 99'er, working, but with my modifications (it wasn't worth
restoring to original; my mods actually make it easier to use.) This is
the one I used before the Gonset.
- Ameco TX-62 in good-but-unrestored shape. I don't know if it works,
but is complete.

He also has a couple of working Tek 453 'scopes. He'd like $100
for the Gonset and $30-$50 for the rest of the rigs. He didn't price the
Tektronix.
I don't know how quickly he wants to move the bits. His contact is
davedoak at gmail.com. NG4G Please contact his directly
