Steve,
Wondering what parts of the bands are you wanting to go to? If it's
sideband, and you want distance, you would need a very good antenna. If
it's FM statewide most Cushcraft/MFJ/whoever is good. However, if it is FM
distance we're talking about something else. The biggest problem with
picking an antenna is what do you want to accomplish. Let me know and
we'll go from there. Beams can run from $ 50 bucks to $5000 depending on
what you want to do. Let me know which parts of the bands you want to work
and if it is FM or USB please.
