Apart from slow-moving hurricanes, no one "expects" real emergencies! It
seems to me that giving one hour notice BY EMAIL to explore who might
participate in a brand new net, on a new frequency, is guaranteed to limit
participation to those few souls who, by sheer luck happen to get the memo
in time.
Apparently, the plan is to run this exercise for several consecutive
Tuesdays, a factor not mentioned in the original email.
